TUSCALOOSA | Mercedes-Benz dealership Leigh Automotive has received Mercedes-Benz USA’s Best of the Best Dealer Recognition Award for its performance in 2011.
The award recognizes dealerships that exceed the expectations of Mercedes-Benz owners. It is based on performance in customer satisfaction, new vehicle sales, certified pre-owned sales, leadership and management, parts operations and market penetration.
This year, the awards were given to the top 15 percent of the Mercedes-Benz dealerships.
“It’s an honor to receive it,” said Greg Peeples, vice president and general manager of Leigh Automotive. “It is basically a recognition that we take our customer satisfaction seriously.”
This is the sixth time that Leigh Automotive has received the national recognition.
“These dealers represent the essence of the Mercedes-Benz brand: an enduring commitment to excellence combined with an entrepreneurial spirit and absolute dedication to customer satisfaction,” according to a prepared statement from Steve Cannon, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA.
New Jersey-based Mercedes-Benz USA is responsible for the sales, marketing and service of all Mercedes-Benz products in the U.S.
